Hope Is Part of Our Story
Church has always been about more than what happens on Sunday. It is a people formed by Jesus and sent into everyday life, trusting Him to transform lives, families, and communities.
Our story has known both joy and deep grief.
In 2005, our church experienced a devastating loss when Pastor Armour’s parents, who were serving as the church’s lead pastors, died in a plane crash. The years that followed brought grief, uncertainty, and questions about what would come next.
Through it all, God remained faithful.
What could have ended the story became part of the story God continued to redeem. Through grief, transition, and rebuilding, Jesus sustained this church and continued forming a people anchored in His presence and His promises.
Today, AROMA Church continues that story. We exist so people can encounter God, be transformed by the gospel, and spread the aroma of Christ everywhere.
LEADING THE HOUSE TOGETHER
AROMA is led by pastors and leaders committed to Jesus, people, and the mission God has entrusted to this church.
Our Lead Pastors set vision and spiritual direction. Our executive and pastoral leaders help steward that vision across the ministries, experiences, locations, and everyday life of AROMA.

The Heartbeats That Shape Us
Love God
Everything begins with Jesus. We build our lives on Scripture, seek God through prayer and worship, and follow wherever He leads.
Love People
People matter deeply to God, so they matter deeply to us. We listen well, protect dignity, learn people’s stories, and love with patience and compassion.
Pursue Excellence
We give God our best as an act of worship. We prepare well, pay attention, take responsibility, and steward every detail with care.
Choose Joy
Joy shapes how we live and serve. We choose gratitude, trust God in every season, and bring faith and encouragement wherever we go.
Give Generously
We live with open hands because everything we have comes from God. We give our time, gifts, resources, and finances to help move the gospel forward.
WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, fully trustworthy and our final authority for faith and life.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Creator and Sustainer of all things.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, crucified for our sins, raised bodily from the dead, and reigning as Lord.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is present and active today, drawing people to Jesus, transforming believers, giving spiritual gifts, and equipping the Church for mission.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection, our sins are forgiven, we are made new, and we receive eternal life.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, live in biblical community, and make Jesus known in the world.
Baptism
We believe water baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus and a biblical act of obedience identifying us with His death, burial, and resurrection.
Communion
We believe Communion remembers and proclaims the saving death of Jesus as His people gather around the bread and the cup.
Prayer
We believe prayer is communion with God. We pray with faith, dependence, and expectation because God hears and responds according to His will.
Eternity
We believe Jesus will return, the dead will be raised, every person will stand before God, and those who belong to Christ will enjoy eternal life with Him.
The Great Commission
We believe every follower of Jesus is sent to make disciples, share the gospel, and spread the aroma of Christ everywhere.
marriage
We believe God established marriage as a covenant union between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s faithful love for His Church.
